Cuban Cigars

Historically Cuban cigars are regarded as among the world’s “finest” and are recognised as a benchmark of excellence. Its strong reputation is due to its unique growing conditions that only exist in Cuba: the soil, climate, varieties of Cuban black tobacco seed, and the know-how of the tobacco growers.

Other places may have acquired some Cuban skills, even some Cuban seeds, but never the natural gifts of the Cuban soil and the Cuban climate.

A further distinction lies in the definition of Havana Cigars – or ‘Habanos’. All Habanos are Cuban, but not all Cubans are Habanos. All Habanos are crafted Totalmentre a Mano – totally by hand- using the methods that were pioneered in Havana two centuries ago and remain virtually unchanged to this day. Every cigar must pass through the most stringent quality control established by the Regulatory Council for the Protected Denomination of Origin (DOP).

A benchmark for excellence.
