In 1882 the Antonio Allones factory, which had been making Havanas for over 30 years, decided to launch a new brand of premium quality and price. With great confidence but little modesty it was named ‘El Rey del Mundo’ – The King of the World. It proved a winner.

This success remains in a selected range of Havanas renowned for its light to medium flavour and consistency.

All sizes contain a blend of filler and binder tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo zone and are made by the ‘tripa larga, totalmente a mano’ – a long filler, totally handmade technique.

This Hermoso No. 4 cigar has a 48-ring gauge and 127mm length, distinct from a larger Robusto. The Choix Supreme begins lightly but gains medium strength, featuring rich flavours of sweet honey, light florals, cream, coffee, and caramel. Its complexity and transitions maintain interest for the 60-minute burn—ideal for any time, paired with a coffee or after a meal. There’s a slight, spicy kick on the finish of this cigar, which draws and burns evenly. It is excellent fresh but can also age well.
